Our Story

Zink & Dot is named after my two rescue cats - Zink, my bold black cat with endless curiosity, and Dottie, my sun-soaking tortie with a flair for glamour. They remind me daily that pets deserve not only love, but thoughtful care. 

What We Do

Through years of working with pets on Rover, I wanted to develop something stylish for them to wear. Non-toxic textiles were important to me. So I began braiding collars with macrame rope that was OEKO-TEX certified. This means that the fiber, dyes and coatings have been tested for over 1,000 harmful substances and found safe! From those first knots, Zink & Dot grew into a vision of boho charm and modern design.
